She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. After graduating, she completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery with rotations in medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, dentistry, general practice, emergency, oncology, dermatology, cardiology, and neurology.
