Many of our families will choose to schedule directly with our veterinarians. For others, they can meet with our boarded nurse, Jessey Scheip.

 

As a boarded nurse, she has a strong background in medicine plus additional training in the treatment of behavior disorders. Jessey can review your pet's case, discuss why these behaviors are occurring, what we can do to help, ways to improve communication, reduce stress, and teach your pet what you do what them to do.

She is available for in person consultations at our Fairfax Campus or remotely via Zoom and telephone.

The preparation for these sessions is the same as meeting the doctors: 

• Complete the Comprehensive Behavior Questionnaire

• Request medical records be sent to our practice

• Sign our Release Forms

 

The only difference: Please discuss this consultation with your primary care veterinarian before scheduling. Not all clinics are comfortable prescribing behavior medications, should they be needed, and you may end up needing to meet with our veterinarians anyway. ​
