Workshops are designed to discuss specific topics of interest to a group of people. They all include some lecture in order to explain the topic, but others will also have demonstrations, activities, and group discussions, depending on which topic we're exploring.

We always think of puppies as a "clean slate," but a LOT goes into raising a healthy, happy, well adjusted puppy. In this 2 hour workshop, learn how to set up your puppy, and yourself, for success.

Growing up, we always heard "cats are so easy!" The theory was that you could just throw food at them and clean the litter box once a day. As we learn more about feline health, we realize that isn't true. Cats are a vastly under-served population of pets. In this workshop, we focus on how to help kittens grow up to be happy, healthy members of your family by addressing their environmental and behavioral needs.

It's hard enough trying to figure out what equipment you need, how many diapers, how you're possibly going to get enough sleep... but now you also have to worry about ensuring your fur-babies are going to get along with the furless-baby. In this 90 minute session, we'll teach you how to do just that. Learn about some of the common pitfalls, what you can be doing now to help with the transition, and ways to ensure everyone stays safe and happy in the years to come.
