Jacey is currently pursuing her goal of becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) through Penn Foster. Before entering the field of veterinary medicine, she studied public health and psychology at Virginia Tech. Her background in these areas gives her a unique perspective on both animal and human well-being. Jacey believes that understanding and nurturing the human-animal bond is essential for promoting health and happiness for both people and their animal companions.
Jacey strives to promote the emotional wellbeing of pets through her practice, and as a Fear Free certified professional, she ensures that her patients feel calm and comfortable during treatment. She is passionate about educating clients on how pain impacts an animal’s behavior. She became particularly interested in pain management after seeing how it transformed the lives of animals with chronic conditions, especially in senior pets. As she continues her journey, Jacey aims to make a meaningful difference in the lives of both animals and their owners by fostering a compassionate and supportive environment for care.
