Grace grew up surrounded by dogs – many of her own, and over 100 foster puppies by the time she graduated high school. However, she didn’t initially plan to work in the vet field.
After graduating with a degree in biology/ecology, Grace spent a few years working for a lake conservation organization, running a garden program for elementary schoolers, and working on a vegetable farm.
Only then did she find her way – answering the call of veterinary medicine, and discovering that’s where she wanted to be...
In addition to her role at ABWC, Grace works at local urgent care vet clinic – and, she's preparing to begin vet school at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in the fall of 2024!
Congratulations, Grace! We're so proud of you :)
