The number 1 behavior problem reported by cat owners is urinating outside the litter box. Contrary to popular belief this is not normal and you don't have to put up with it! In this session with our boarded veterinary behaviorist, Dr. Amy Pike, we'll take a more in depth look at this common problem. We'll discuss the most common causes and what you can do to restore that "fresh house" smell. Designed for both professionals and the public.

At ABWC we're very passionate about considerate handling for our patients. Medical care is important and we can't take care of patients when they're afraid or aggressive. In this two part workshop, you'll learn about managing the environment, dog and cat body language, how to approach animals appropriately, handle them safely, and train them to tolerate veterinary care. Contains both lecture and lab.
