Ashleigh is a Veterinary Technician Specialist in Physical Rehabilitation and a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) with over 15 years of clinical experience in pain management, functional recovery, and patient-centered care. She is a strong advocate for treating the patient as a “whole”, recognizing the vital connection between physical discomfort and emotional well-being.
With a keen eye for subtle signs of pain that often go unnoticed, Ashleigh combines skilled clinical observation with Fear Free techniques to ensure each patient remains as comfortable and stress-free as possible. She is passionate about client education, creative problem-solving, and tailoring care plans to suit both the individual needs of the pet and the capabilities of their owner(s).
A nationally recognized speaker and author on topics related to pain assessment and physical rehabilitation, Ashleigh is committed to advancing the profession through education. She enjoys teaching veterinary teams how to identify pain and empowering clients to play an active role in their pet’s healing journey.
She is a Fear Free Certified Professional and a member of the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management.
