Makenna Kelley

Makenna brings a unique blend of hands-on animal care experience and specialized training to the administrative team at Animal Behavior Wellness Center.

A graduate of Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA), Makenna began her journey in the animal care field as a bather, eventually training to become a professional groomer. Driven by a passion for animal behavior and welfare, M​akenna earned certification through the Karen Pryor Academy (KPA), a respected leader in positive reinforcement-based training. This experience deepened their understanding of animal behavior and led to their current role at Animal Behavior Wellness Center​.

Outside of the clinic, M​akenna shares ​h​er home with a lively crew of pets​ including two ferrets, a bearded dragon, an axolotl, and two dogs​.
