Xenia’s approach centers on giving pets a voice. Through choice-based pattern games and Fear-Free techniques, she helps owners understand what their animals are trying to communicate. Rather than just managing behavior, she works on building trust and emotional resilience, for a calmer and more harmonious home on both ends of the leash.
Xenia is a Certified Control Unleashed Instructor mentored by Leslie McDevitt. Her training also includes an Animal Behavior Sciences certification under Dr. James O’Heare, Dr. Susan Friedman’s Learning and Living with Animals program, and the Enrichment Master Class with Allie Bender and Emily Strong.
With a lifelong passion for rescue, Xenia has volunteered with dog and cat rescue efforts across multiple countries. She is married with two adult children and shares a busy, animal-centric home with her husband Henley, Benji, and Millie Meows.
